High Desert Droids Robotics Team

Welcome to the website for the FIRST Team 753 robotics team: the High Desert Droids. We are a group of high school students located in Bend, Oregon, who are involved the FIRST Robotics program. We are a student–driven team of bright individuals drawn together by a passion for working as a team and building robots.

Team 753 had a very successful 2008-2009 year, made possible by many brand new people and ideas. We had a blast at the championships in Atlanta, Georgia with our robot, F_f=µF_n, and are expecting an even better 2009-2010 year.

Location and Directions

The High Desert Droids robotics team is located in Bend, Oregon. We are a team composed of members from every Bend high school. Mountain View High, Bend High, and Summit High all work together. Meetings are currently held at room C5 at Mountain View High School every Tuesday evening at 6:00 PM. If you are interested in joining the team, or want to know more about us, just stop by! We love meeting new people that are interested in science and technology.

2009-2010 Year

We are geared and ready with an awesome team of enthusiastic students this year, eager to make this year, one of the best years yet! We have been present at the Bend Fall Festival and Central Oregon Pumpkin Festival, entertaining many people. Our members have a broad range of talents, that will make build season fun and exciting!
